Flowers aren’t just found in gardens—they flourish around us, quietly blooming within the fabric of our everyday lives. In "Listening to the Blossoms," we draw parallels between the delicate unfolding of petals and the subtle details that color our daily experiences. The film opens through the eyes of Taichung’s local artisans, inviting the audience to listen closely to the city's heartbeat—from tradition to modernity, from culinary arts to craftsmanship, from cultural heritage to deep-rooted faith.
This visual narrative intertwines live-action footage with 3D animated floral elements, symbolizing the growth and accumulation of life’s nutrients before the bloom. Every artisan’s precise craftsmanship mirrors the meticulous nurturing of a flower before it bursts into full blossom. By the film’s crescendo, Taichung is portrayed as fully prepared to bloom—a city brimming with vitality and ready to be witnessed through the collective gaze of its people and the world.
Through dynamic cinematography and seamless integration of live-action and 3D animation, we crafted an image film that not only showcases the grandeur of the Taichung World Flora Exposition but also reflects the vibrant spirit of the city itself.
